The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) and the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), saw Rochester's baseball team gain a win over Union Area by a tally of 16-1.

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA). The enter the WPIAL 1A 2 battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Winchester Thurston defeated Summit Academy (Herman, PA), 21-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Scotties face the Western Beaver Golden Beavers (Industry, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 2 battle, on Monday, April 14. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Golden Beavers enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 7-3 league win over Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA).
