April 9, 2025: Montclair, NJ 07042 Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Montclair improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mounties host Livingston (Livingston, NJ) to face the Lancers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 6-3. Livingston won 2-0 in their recent league test against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ)
The Lions now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Essex for a SEC - American test on Friday, April 11. Payne Tech will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
