Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Rio Americano improves its record to 13-14 on the season. The Raiders travel to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA) to encounter the Marauders in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Marauders go into the test with a record of 14-11. Jesuit lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)

The Bruins now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vista del Lago for a Capital Valley Conference test on Monday, April 21. Ponderosa will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 22-6.
