The Rodriguez Mustangs baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Liberty Lions to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Rodriguez will play a Falcons team coming off a 11-6 league win over West Campus (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Liberty drops to 10-3 on the year. The Lions host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 4-4. Pittsburg lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA)
