Colorado High School Lacrosse - Denver East sneaks past Cherokee Trail
April 9, 2025: Denver, CO 80206 Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) and the visiting Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), witnessed Denver East's lacrosse squad hold off Cherokee Trail by a count of 6-5.
The Angels (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Denver South (Denver, CO). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Denver South was nipped by Grandview (Aurora, CO), 12-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars meet the Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) in a contest, on Friday, April 11. Cherokee Trail will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO).
