Maryland High School Lacrosse - Chopticon nudges La Plata
April 9, 2025: La Plata, MD 20646 The Chopticon Braves lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the host La Plata Warriors to 5 in the Braves league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, April 11. Chopticon will face a Raiders squad coming off a 11-9 league win over Northern (Owings, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, La Plata falls to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD) to face the Hurricanes in a Southern Maryland outing on Monday, April 21. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Huntingtown won 16-0 in their recent non-league outing against Patuxent (Lusby, MD)
