The Central Red Devils overwhelmed the host Auburn Tigers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) in a 7A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 30-3 season record.

The Tigers (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 26-2 record. In their last challenge, Thompson toppled Prattville (Prattville, AL), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.
