North Carolina High School Softball - Bandys bounces Newton-Conover
April 9, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609 The Bandys Trojans softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils to 1 in the Trojans league win on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle on Friday, April 11. Bandys will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 16-1.
With the loss, Newton-Conover moves to 2-13 on the season. The Red devils host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to confront the Bears in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle on Thursday, April 10. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 12-4. Bunker Hill won 7-3 in their recent league battle against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
