New Jersey High School Softball - Newark Academy bounces East Side
April 9, 2025: Newark, NJ 07105 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen softball team scored a nice 18-1 win over the East Side Red Raiders.
The Minutemen (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers come into the SEC - Liberty match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Glen Ridge notched a victory over Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ), 17-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial match, on Friday, April 11. East Side will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
