The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL) and the visiting Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL), observed Strawberry Crest's softball team get by Gaither by a tally of 11-8.

The Chargers (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Newsome (Lithia, FL). The Wolves go into the 7A District 7 bout with a 15-4 record. In their last bout, Newsome was routed by East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL), 9-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Durant Cougars (Plant City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Gaither will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Plant (Tampa, FL).
