Louisiana High School Softball - Plain Dealing bounces Homer
April 9, 2025: Homer, LA 71040 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA) and the host Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA), observed Plain Dealing's softball team prevail over Homer by a tally of 16-3.
The Lions (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against Simsboro (Simsboro, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 18-10 record. In their last bout, Simsboro knocked off Haynesville (Haynesville, LA), 17-7, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Pelicans battle the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. Homer will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA).
