The Mendota Trojans softball squad (Mendota, IL), was nudged 30-29 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL)

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 10. Somonauk will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Redskins go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Sandwich (Sandwich, IL).

The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Red Devils go into the Three Rivers East test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Hall held off Mendota (Mendota, IL), 15-5, in a league test.
