Ohio High School Softball - Ravenswood edged by Southern
April 9, 2025: Racine, OH 45771 Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), 8-7 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Tornadoes host Belpre (Belpre, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Valley - Hocking game on Thursday, April 10. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-1. Belpre won 10-7 in their recent league game against Eastern (Reedsville, OH)
The Red Devils now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Braxton County for a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. Ravenswood will play a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Clay County (Clay, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
