The Polytech Panthers softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Smyrna Eagles to 13 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caravel Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 11. Polytech will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 8-1 league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Smyrna moves to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 14.
