Alabama High School Softball - Lamar County can't get by Northridge
In Saturday's non-league contest, the Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) softball team held off the host Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Northridge moves its record to 14-11 on the year. The Jaguars host Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL) to play the Stampede in a 6A Area 7 contest on Tuesday, April 13. The Stampede come into the contest with a record of 10-12. Paul W. Bryant won 18-13 in their recent non-league contest against Greensboro (Greensboro, AL)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Hamilton Aggies (Hamilton, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 10. Lamar County will attempt to move on its 7-17 season record. The Aggies come into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Curry (Jasper, AL).
