In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Alexander Central Cougars baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the Bunker Hill Bears.

The Cougars (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes go into the non-league game with a 13-1 record. In their last game, Hickory ran past Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 8-0, in a non-league game.
