Illinois High School Soccer - Oswego nudges Glenbard East
April 10, 2023: Lombard, IL 60148 Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Thursday, April 13. Oswego will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Bengals enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL).
The Rams now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Geneva for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Glenbard East will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
