Alabama High School Softball - Skyline bounces Bob Jones
April 10, 2023: Madison, AL 35758 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL) and the host Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), saw Skyline's softball squad nip Bob Jones by a count of 7-3.
The Vikings now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Head for a 1A Area 15 match on Tuesday, April 11. Skyline will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-16.
With the loss, Bob Jones falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Austin (Decatur, AL) to face the Black Bears in a 7A Area 8 match on Tuesday, April 11. The Black Bears enter the match with a record of 11-15. Austin lost 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Athens (Athens, AL)
