April 10, 2024: Gloucester, VA 23061 The Warwick Raiders baseball team (Newport News, VA), was overwhelmed 16-3 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA)
The Dukes now hold a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denbigh for a Peninsula outing on Friday, April 12. Gloucester will confront a Patriots team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.
Next, the Raiders confront the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 15. Warwick will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 1-6 record after their 25-4 league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA).
