The Dixon Rams volleyball team (Dixon, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA)

The Patriots (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights enter the Golden Empire challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Rio Linda nipped Woodland (Woodland, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a Golden Empire challenge, on Monday, April 15. Dixon will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 10-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA).
