Delaware High School Softball - Delmarva Christian bounces Padua Academy
April 10, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appoquinimink for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Delmarva Christian will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Padua Academy drops to 0-3 on the year. The travel to Ursuline Academy (Wilmington, DE) to clash with the Raiders in a Catholic game on Thursday, April 11. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 0-3.
