Illinois High School Softball - Marengo bounces Fenton
April 10, 2024: Marengo, IL 60152 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the visiting Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL), saw Marengo's softball squad achieve victory over Fenton by a count of 14-0.
The Indians now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Harvard for a Kishwaukee River match on Thursday, April 11. Marengo will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Fenton falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bison travel to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to face the Storm in a Upstate Eight match on Thursday, April 11. The Storm enter the match with a record of 5-6. South Elgin won 8-0 in their recent league match against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
