New Jersey High School Softball - Morris County Tech bounces Newark Tech
April 10, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ), 19-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to High Point for a NJAC - Freedom challenge on Thursday, April 11. Morris County Tech will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Vernon (Vernon, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Newark Tech falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Terries host Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) to face the Cougars in a SEC - Colonial challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Montclair Kimberley Academy lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ)
