Arkansas High School Baseball - Danville defeats Mount Ida
April 10, 2025: Mount Ida, AR 71957 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) and the host Mount Ida Lions (Mount Ida, AR), saw Danville's baseball team beat Mount Ida by a margin of 26-21.
The Little Johns (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Rebels enter the 2A Region 4 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Westside held off Scranton (Scranton, AR), 23-16, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Mount Ida will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 3-9 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Harmony Grove (Camden, AR).
