Missouri High School Baseball - Wheatland defeats Liberal
April 10, 2025: Liberal, MO 64762 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Wheatland Mules (Wheatland, MO) and the host Liberal Bulldogs (Liberal, MO), saw Wheatland's baseball team gain a win over Liberal by a tally of 9-2.
The Mules (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Springfield, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Central was overwhelmed by Neosho (Neosho, MO), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Midway Vikings (Cleveland, MO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 11. Liberal will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 17-2 league win over Lutheran (Kansas City, MO).
