April 10, 2025: Montrose, MO 64770 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Montrose Blue Jays (Montrose, MO) and the visiting Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO), saw Montrose's baseball team gain a win over Northeast Vernon County by a tally of 10-0.
The Blue Jays (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sherwood (Creighton, MO). The Marksmen enter the non-league battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Sherwood was overwhelmed by Warsaw (Warsaw, MO), 12-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Wheaton Bulldogs (Wheaton, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Northeast Vernon County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Central (Springfield, MO).
