In Thursday's non-league game, the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters baseball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the West Central Area Knights.

The Mainstreeters (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Huskers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Holdingford was overwhelmed by Kimball (Kimball, MN), 7-3, in a league game.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) in a Pheasant contest, on Monday, April 14. West Central Area will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
