April 10, 2025: Portland, OR 97229 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) and the visiting Nelson (Happy Valley, OR), observed Sunset's volleyball team top Nelson by a count of 3-0.
The Apollos (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Forest Grove was knocked off by Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the meet the South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 12. Nelson will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Saxons enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 3-1 league win over McKay (Salem, OR).
