The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) softball routed the visiting Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bruins now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 22. Western Branch will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
