Illinois High School Lacrosse - Providence Catholic drops to Fenwick
April 10, 2025: Oak Park, IL 60302 Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), 10-6 in a league game.
With the victory, Fenwick improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Friars travel to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 4-2. Hinsdale Central won 13-11 in their recent non-league game against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
The Celtics now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lemont for a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. Providence Catholic will play a Lemont HS team coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 1-2.
