April 10, 2025: Highland Springs, VA 23075 In Thursday's league test, the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), by a count of 17-2.
Next, the Springers meet the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital test, on Monday, April 14. Highland Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA).
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, James Monroe toppled Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA), 27-5, in a league test.
