April 10, 2025: Charleston, WV 25311 The Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) softball routed the visiting Elk Valley Christian Eagles (Elkview, WV), 8-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a Mountain State outing on Friday, April 11. Capital will encounter a Timberwolves team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Elk Valley Christian moves to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles host Clay County (Clay, WV) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Clay County won 15-0 in their recent non-league outing against Braxton County (Sutton, WV)
