The River Mill Jaguars softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Clover Garden School Grizzlies to 8 in the Jaguars league win on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Carolina Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. River Mill will confront a Eagles team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Clover Garden School moves to 10-4 on the season. The Grizzlies host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to confront the Wolves in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 7-6.
