The Cottondale Hornets got by the visiting Walton Braves softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Cottondale will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Gators go into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 4-3 league loss to Altha (Altha, FL).
