Connecticut High School Softball - Greenwich bounces Sacred Heart Academy
April 10, 2025: Hamden, CT 02120 The Greenwich Cardinals softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Sacred Heart Academy to 5 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Milford for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Greenwich will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Sacred Heart Academy moves to 1-1 on the season. The travel to West Haven (West Haven, CT) to confront the Blue Devils in a Southern Connecticut - Quinnipiac battle on Friday, April 11. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 1-1. West Haven lost 21-3 in their recent non-league battle against Guilford (Guilford, CT)
