The Hackett Hornets overwhelmed the visiting Scranton Rockets softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Hackett will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 13-1 league loss to Hector (Hector, AR).

The Rockets (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Har-Ber (Springdale, AR). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record.
