The Harnett Central Trojans overwhelmed the visiting Triton Hawks softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a All American 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Harnett Central will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 17-2 league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).

The Hawks (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the All American 3A/4A challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Western Harnett toppled E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 20-2, in a league challenge.
