Minnesota High School Softball - Owatonna knocked off by Mayo
April 10, 2025: Rochester, MN 55904 The Mayo Spartans overwhelmed the visiting Owatonna Huskies softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) in a Big 9 challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Mayo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Scarlets go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 23-0 non-league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN).
The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Brainerd was routed by St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
