Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV), 8-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Calhoun moves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Red Devils travel to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV) to battle the Irish in a Freelance match on Saturday, April 11. The Irish come into the match with a record of 10-1. St. Joseph Central won 17-4 in their recent non-league match against Midland Trail (Hico, WV)

The Rebels now possess a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wahama for a Little Kanawha match on Monday, April 13. Ritchie County will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Eastern (Reedsville, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 4-11.
