The Daniel Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

The Lions now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Travelers Rest for a 4A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 14. Daniel will clash with a Devildogs team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Devildogs record now stands at 6-12.

With the defeat, North Myrtle Beach drops to 13-3 on the year. The Chiefs travel to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) to clash with the Sharks in a 5A Region 5 test on Monday, April 13. The Sharks go into the test with a record of 10-9. St. James won 13-4 in their recent non-league test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
