The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), saw Gilbert's baseball team get by Mountain Pointe by a tally of 5-4.

The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights enter the battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Higley was tipped by Highland (Gilbert, AZ), 11-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Pride face the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 13. Mountain Pointe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Padres enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 15-2 league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ).
