The Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Benjamin Franklin Chargers to 1 in the Golden Eagles league win on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Payson for a 3A Metro battle on Monday, April 13. Bourgade Catholic will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 19-0 league win over San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Benjamin Franklin moves to 5-11 on the season. The Chargers travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to confront the Longhorns in a 3A Metro battle on Tuesday, April 14. The Longhorns come into the battle with a record of 12-7.
