Connecticut High School Baseball - Newtown prevails Bunnell
April 11, 2022: Stratford, CT 06614 Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), 10-1 in a league test.
With the win, Newtown upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Nighthawks host Weston (Weston, CT) to battle the Trojans in a Southwest - Colonial test on Wednesday, April 13. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-5. Weston lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT)
With the defeat, Bunnell falls to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT) to battle the Rebels in a Southwest - Colonial test on Wednesday, April 13. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 1-2. New Fairfield lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT)
