April 11, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD), 13-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Avalon upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD) to battle the Mustangs in a Freelance test on Saturday, April 15. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-6. Southern Maryland Christian Academy lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD)
With the defeat, Sandy Spring Friends falls to 3-1 on the season. The Wildebeests travel to Bullis (Potomac, MD) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-5.
