April 11, 2023: Waxhaw, NC 28173 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), saw Cuthbertson's baseball squad knock off Butler by a count of 7-1.
Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Charlotte Stampede Stampede (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 12. Cuthbertson will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Stampede enter the battle with a 14-4 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC).
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 12. Butler will play a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Lancers record now stands at 14-2.
