In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Draughn Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Patton Panthers.

The Wildcats (13-3) will now prepare for their game against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league game with a 14-2 record. In their last game, R-S Central tipped Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 4-3, in a non-league game.
