April 11, 2023: Kennesaw, GA 30152 The Etowah Eagles triumphed over the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs lacrosse team by a score of 23-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
With the win, Etowah upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Eagles host Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A-6A Area 4 match on Thursday, April 13. The Chiefs go into the match with a record of 4-7. Sequoyah won 6-5 in their recent league match against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA)
With the defeat, Kennesaw Mountain drops to 1-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Wheeler (Marietta, GA) to play the Wildcats in a 7A Area 2 match on Thursday, April 13. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 1-10. Wheeler lost 18-6 in their recent non-league match against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA)
