April 11, 2023: Christchurch, VA 23031 The Christchurch School Seahorses soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Mathews Blue Devils to 0 in the Seahorses non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Seahorses face the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a Tidewater contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Christchurch School will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Mighty Oaks enter the contest with a 9-0 record after their 8-3 league win over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA).
The Blue Devils now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northumberland for a non-league contest on Monday, April 17. Mathews will face a Indians team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Indians record now stands at 1-5.
