Illinois High School Soccer - Maine West held off by Mundelein
April 11, 2023: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Mundelein Mustangs held off the visiting Maine West Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Taft for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 12. Mundelein will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Maine West drops to 3-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to encounter the Giants in a Central Suburban - North match on Thursday, April 13.
