Wisconsin High School Softball - Algoma nudges Crivitz
April 11, 2023: Algoma, WI 54201 Algoma Wolves (Algoma, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Crivitz Wolverines (Crivitz, WI), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheboygan Area Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. Algoma will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Cedar Grove-Belgium (Cedar Grove, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Crivitz falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Niagara (Niagara, WI) to battle the Badgers in a Marinette & Oconto challenge on Monday, April 17. The Badgers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
